Jon’s original pieces are very much inspired by the traditional jazz he has played for so long, except that the melodies and rhythmic ideas are new, fresh and infectious; vibrant tunes that stick in the mind even after a first listening. Jon has taken the traditions he learned from and expanded upon them to create very listenable and stimulating music which appeals to both casual listeners and experienced jazz aficionados. And there is much more to come. Jon is coming up with a constant stream of new material.
